Manchester Fashion Week 2014 is fast approaching and La Vida Magazine Features Editor Jsky will be hosting and performing new material from his upcoming mixtape at art exhibition 1978 ‘A Celebration of Manchester’s Cultural Aesthetic’ on 22nd February at Beehive Mill.

For this year’s Manchester fashion week the Beehive Mill on Jersey Street (recognisable to film and Mancunian music fans as the setting for 24 hour party people’s Factory Records HQ) will play host to the 1978 Exhibition, a ‘celebration of Manchester’s Cultural Aesthetic’, featuring artworks and fashion displays from various creatives in the region.

Decades of subcultures, from mods to beatniks, inform this exhibition and fashion show.
